インストール

Tox を使用するには、Tox クライアントをインストールする必要があります。アプリケーション一覧/インターネット#Tox clients を参照してください。

プロキシ

Tor 経由で接続するには、まず次のように起動します:

[tor]$ /usr/bin/tor

次に、Tox クライアントを設定します。例えば:

$ toxic -t -p 127.0.0.1 9050

ノードの実行

Tox で他人と接続するには、まず DHT ノードに接続する必要があります。全ての DHT ノードは相互に接続され、全てのユーザーが DHT ノードに接続している限り、一方向あるいは双方向で他者と接続することができます。

toxcore をインストールしてください。パッケージをインストールすると tox-bootstrapd ユーザーが作成され、systemd のユニットファイルが /usr/lib/systemd/system/tox-bootstrapd.service に、設定ファイルが /etc/tox-bootstrapd.conf にインストールされます。

設定ファイルを編集して Tox wiki や Node status page に記載されているノードを追加してください。

tox-bootstrapd.service を起動・有効化して、Tox ノードが問題なく動作していることを確認してください:
