Inkscape はベクタ画像エディタアプリケーションです。フリーのソフトウェアライセンス、GNU GPL で配布されています。XML, SVG, CSS などの標準に完全に準拠したグラフィックツールとなることを目標としています [1]。

インストール
inkscape は公式リポジトリからインストールできます。開発版は AUR の inkscape-gtk3-bzrAUR[リンク切れ: アーカイブ: aur-mirror] から利用可能です。
トラブルシューティング
libpng 1.2.x のビルドエラー
以下のエラーで inkscape のビルドが失敗する場合:

/usr/include/libpng12/pngconf.h にある以下の2行をコメントアウトすることで解決できます:

KDE Plasma でツールチップが表示されない
KDE のシステム設定で colors > options から "Apply colors to non-QT-applications" を無効にしてください。Inkscape を再起動することで変更が適用されます。
