新しいページを作成して翻訳する

  1. Wiki の編集方法を知らないのであれば、まずはヘルプ:編集を見てください。
  2. ヘルプ:i18n を読んでください。これは、ArchWiki における国際化と地域化に関する包括的なガイドラインです。
  3. Wiki を編集するために ログイン してください。
  4. 翻訳するページを選んでください。ここでは例として Some Page を選ぶことにします。
    • ページをランダムに選択することもできますし、#優先ページ[リンク切れ: セクションが存在しません]一覧からページを選んでもよいでしょう。勿論、あなたが興味を持っているページや翻訳をリクエストされたページでもかまいません。
  5. 選択したページに行き、メニューにある edit をクリックしてください。
  6. 翻訳する予定のページへ言語間リンクを追加してください
    • 詳しくは ヘルプ:i18n#言語間リンク を見てください、普通は [[ja:そのページのタイトル]] を追加します。
    • 言語間リンクはアルファベット順にしてください。大抵、日本語 (ja) はイタリア語 (it) の後・韓国語 (ko) の前になるはずです。
  7. 英語のページソースコードを全てコピーしてください。
  8. （新しく言語間リンクを追加した）英語のページを保存してください。
  9. 作成した言語間リンクから日本語のページへ行きましょう。
  10. 翻訳ページはまだ存在しないため、メニューの create をクリックして新しくページを作成してください。
  11. シンプルな WYSIWYG エディタが表示されるはずです。ここに先ほどコピーしたページソースコードを貼り付けてください。
  12. 言語間リンクの部分に、日本語を削除して英語を追加します。
    • 日本語のページに日本語の言語間リンク ([[ja:ほにゃらら]]) を置いてはいけません。
  13. コピーしたページを翻訳して、保存してください。
